Hydrogen clearance technique was evaluated for measuring skin flap blood flow in a pig model. This method assesses blood flow by detecting changes in hydrogen concentration within tissues. Results confirmed that hydrogen clearance can accurately and reliably measure skin flap blood flow in pigs. Compared to conventional blood flow measurement methods, it demonstrated high accuracy and reproducibility, suggesting it could be a useful tool for non-invasive blood flow assessment in skin flaps.
